At PlexiSign, our considerable design and production skills mean that we can offer a diverse range of signage types and options for our clients. The following showcases our main line-up…
Channel letters and logos are one of the most common sign types being used commercially nowadays. In most cases, our clients prefer internal illumination, for great visibility at night. We offer a variety of styles and types.
The letters can be installed directly to your business frontage. Optionally, they can be pre-mounted to an additional “carrier” box. This can sometimes create a clean, appealing overall appearance to your sign. Alternatively, The letters can be mounted to a tubing system to minimize the impact to your business front.
We can help you decide the best options for you and your business.
Push-thru letter signs are a fantastic visual option for indoor signage. Although in many cases, they can be used for outdoor applications as well. Typically, push-thru letter signs consist of an opaque material lightbox with cutouts in the face of it, where the translucent acrylic letters protrude through. Many materials, color, and finishes are available.
Let our extensive design, production, and installation experience be a guide for your signage choices.
Aluminum signs give a highly professional, refined, leading edge outdoor appearance to any business. This sign type is extremely robust, with fantastic finishing — sure to get noticed and attract customers. The signature element is the automotive quality paint job, often including a clear coat.
These signs are professionally manufactured with aluminum faces, sides, backs and internal reinforcing structure. The faces of these sign types are a canvas for multiple kinds of graphic options: push-thru letters / recessed cutout graphics / vinyl & painted graphics / white and colored LED lighting… and more.
We are here to answer any questions you have.
Pylon signs and Monument signs are a visually effective way to let clients see your signage much closer, when your establishment is set back quite a distance from roads and other traffic routes. These signs are also particularly useful when a sign cannot be mounted directly on the building façade, or when only a building sign may be insufficient.
These sign types must withstand wind forces and other potential hazards. Therefore underground concrete bases must be appropriately engineered and poured. Since these types of signs are standalone, underground electrical power must also be brought from the building, to the concrete base. Special permits are required from the local town hall to carry out this excavation work. We have the expertise to handle all aspects.
Reception signs give a highly professional, refined, leading edge appearance to the reception area any business. It is one of the first things new clients take notice of, the first time they walk through your entrance. It gives clients extra confidence in the quality of your future service to them.
There are many styles of reception signs available to consider. The higher the complexity and elegance of your reception sign, the more confidence clients will have in your professionalism. A great reception area sign is something to be very proud of.
Wall standoff signs are a sometimes simple, yet often stylish type of non-illuminated indoor sign. Standoff posts are available in various diameters and lengths. The actual signs can be a single layer of material or multi-stage consisting of multiple material types, even with 3D components. Standoff signs can be used to identify the indoor entrance of an office or restaurant. Another example is that they could also be used to elegantly showcase printed graphics in a public corridor or an art gallery.
Awnings and Canopies are a good choice when you want to add stylish extra protection over your entrance. Many business owners choose to make use of this feature while simultaneously making it serve as their commercial sign. Awnings and canopies are usually a welded aluminum structural frame which is then covered with a special canvas or vinyl material. Awnings covered with printed graphics on translucent vinyl material can optionally contain lighting, so that the graphics can be seen well at night. This light source also serves to light up the entrance of your business. Canvas covered awnings with professionally painted artwork, can be installed with separately mounted overhead custom light fixtures.
Menu signs are an obvious requirement for any restaurant. We offer a wide range of menu visual solutions. Most menu sign options have internal lighting. Internally lit menus often utilize printed acetate films called “Duratrans”. We take care of producing these acetates. In many cases, we work for you to design the artwork. Another type of menu option is printed menus, which are laminated onto rigid panels made of sign plywood, PVC foamboard, or some other laminate panel. This option is not illuminated, unless by separate overhead light fixtures. A third option is professionally installed video monitors which can be programmed to display your menus as slideshows, for example. You may also wish to have auxiliary standoff signs to display price lists of things like beverages and side orders (See ‘#6: standoff signs‘ above).
Whatever menu type you choose, we are passionate about designing your artwork for your menus. We want you to present an attractive, enticing look for your restaurant’s food products.
